Bad Move

Just some friends making noise in Gordon's shop in SE Portland. Some of them had played for years, some were just learning to play, but all down for partying, going to shows, playing loud, and getting out of hand! Things started off unconventionally, with relentless instrument switching, 2 drummers (one on the infamous junkkit), and songs that ranged from rockabilly to metal to electronica, to you name it. The line-up has changed many times; from a six-piece to a four piece to a five piece and now back to a four piece. The original members are: Drew Westergren (Burning Cindys, Ghost Motor) on guitar & vocals and Jason Wyatt Todd (Blue 5, Ghost Motor, Strangle The Priest) on vocals, sax, harp, etc. Current line-up includes: Cory Hartze (Steak Knife!) on drums, Josh Ketterer (O.Z. Willis, Ugly Machine, and Die Robot) on bass and vocals. Bad Move has had the pleasure to share the stage with many amazing Portland and NW bands. Dive bars, house parties, parking lots, basements, you name it, Bad Move is all about spreading the good word of independent music... They came to get down! They came to play loud! Always do both! If it wasn't for some bad moves, they wouldn't have any moves at all...
